Geir Lie: Making Solid Bible Teaching Accessible

Saturday at 20:00 on Insight with Pastor Torp, Jan-Aage Torp welcomes Geir Lie, Director of the Norwegian Pentecostal Movement’s Archives in Oslo and a lifelong researcher and writer on Pentecostalism and the Charismatic Movement.

Geir Lie has devoted much of his life to documenting the history of the Pentecostal movement, with a particular focus on Norwegian missions. In this conversation, he shares about his new book on Norwegian Pentecostal missions and the stories of faith, sacrifice and calling that are inspiring a new generation.

Through his extensive documentation of mission history, Geir hopes to help young people today discover the importance of missions and be encouraged to respond “yes” when God calls.

The conversation also explores Geir’s passion for making sound and accessible Bible teaching available to believers around the world. His basic theology books have been translated into Portuguese, Spanish and English, helping churches and Christians gain access to solid biblical teaching in their own languages.

Join us for an inspiring conversation about faith, missions, biblical teaching and the importance of passing the message on to a new generation.
