Teaching God’s Word from Mount Zion: Dr. Perry Phillips

In tonight’s Insight with Pastor Torp, Jan-Aage Torp sits down with Dr. Perry Phillips, distinguished adjunct professor at Jerusalem University College on Mount Zion, Jerusalem.

With a PhD in astrophysics from Cornell University, Dr. Phillips brings together two worlds often presented as opposites: science and biblical faith. Rather than seeing science as a threat to Scripture, he explains how exploring the universe can deepen his understanding of its Creator and reinforce his trust in the authority of the Bible.

In this conversation:

• Science and faith: Can the study of the universe point us toward a greater understanding of God?
• The authority of Scripture: Why does Dr. Phillips continue to place his confidence in the Bible?
• Jerusalem and Mount Zion: Teaching God’s Word from the very heart of biblical history.
• A personal encounter with Jesus: Dr. Phillips shares experiences that profoundly changed his life and faith.

From the discoveries of astrophysics to the truth of Scripture, this is a conversation about faith that seeks understanding—and a God who reveals Himself.
